Welcome to Baseline Sports

About Me

Adam Malik is a native of Malaysia and currently lives in Kentucky, USA. He was a star player on the Malaysia National team and was recruited to the University of Kentucky. At just 14 years old, Adam’s tennis career began as the youngest athlete to play in the Davis Cup in Malaysia. Adam had a successful college debut and became the first Malaysian to turn professional.

  • 1987-89 Division All American in both singles and double
  • 1989 earned the coaches elite All SEC award
  • 1987-89 earned Indoor Singles Champion and was #6 Outdoor Singles Finalist

  • 1985, ‘89, ‘93 SE Asian Games
  • 1994 awarded Bronze Hiroshima Asian Games
  • 2000-2002 Malaysia Davis Cup head coach

  • Head Coach Midway University
